Welcome to Cornwall
We (David & Susan) offer informal hospitality in our Victorian farmhouse. Visit us, relax and enjoy good food in congenial surroundings.
B&B Our main guest room (double/twin) has spacious en-suite facilities & dual aspect.
Breakfast, mostly home grown or home made, is served in the south facing conservatory. The visitors' sitting room has a wood burning stove, a TV & a good selection of books & leaflets about Cornwall. We do not smoke or allow animals inside our farmhouse home.
From £20 per person per night.
Stephen Gelly is a traditional grassland farm with small fields & wildlife-friendly hedges & copses. In addition to our main farm business we have a large kitchen garden & keep a house cow, geese, bees & horses. There are two farm dogs Holly & Skye (collie crosses) also a cat T.C, who lives above the stables. We use our own spring water.
The farm is situated in an unfrequented lane south of Bodmin. Its central location make an ideal base for exploring Cornwall.
It is an easy drive to the Eden Project or either coast.
We are 3 miles from Lanhydrock House (NT) & 2 miles from the Camel Trail at Nanstallon
for Padstow & the north coast or Bodmin moor. As well as the Camel trail we are well served by other local cycle routes, making many more places accessible by bike.
