Every 6-8 weeks 200 Organic day old chicks are bought in. They are either Sasso or Hubbard birds which are suited to organic rearing.

For the first 3 weeks they have access to heat, once fully feathered they are ready to go out to the field, where they forage for food in a large grassed electrically fenced run and are fed organic grain.

We have a small flock of laying hens which produce organic eggs.

We plan to start offering organic geese and turkey for the Christmas market.
